Freo is one of our very favourite places for a day trip or a few nights accommodation and the cafe strip and heritage buildings are a must for any visitor to WA at any time of year.

Whether you do Freo as the start of the C.Y. O'Connor story or a trip to Rottnest Island or perhaps you visit the marvellous Freo Prison, Roundhouse and convict history museums or you like the Maritime Museum there is much for you to see and do.  

We always enjoy just walking around the Freo cafe strip and visiting the ecletic Freo markets - we could spend days there and often do at the new Bannister Suites or Quest Harbour Village - accommodation options are not plentiful but they are excellent!
